Keep Your Floors Looking Like New!

At Architect, we hold our customers in the highest regard. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we are committed to ensuring a positive experience for you at every step of the way. Here’s what you can expect from us:

Wood Floors:

  • Routine dusting is key: Regularly dusting your wood floors helps keep them clean and free from debris.
  • Avoid wet mopping: Never use a wet mop on wood floors, as excessive moisture can damage the wood. Instead, opt for a professional wood cleaning product.
  • Be cautious with cleaning products: Avoid using ammonia or other harsh floor cleaning products, as they can harm the finish of your wood floors.
  • Act quickly on spills: Promptly wipe up any spills to prevent staining or warping of the wood. Keep damp items off the floor to avoid moisture damage.
  • Use a soft brush attachment when vacuuming: To prevent scratches, use a vacuum with a soft brush attachment when cleaning your wood floors.
  • Protect against sunlight: Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause fading of wood floors. Consider using window coverings to help prevent sun damage.
  • Use furniture protector pads: Place protector pads on the legs of furniture, especially on chairs that are frequently moved, to prevent scratches and dents on your wood floors.

Wool Rugs:

  • Vacuum regularly: Use a vacuum to remove everyday dust and dirt from your wool rug. In the first year, we recommend vacuuming at least twice a week to eliminate excess fuzz that may accumulate on the surface. This fuzzing is normal and does not affect the lifespan of the rug; it’s simply loose fibers from the weaving process.
  • Clean spills promptly: Immediately blot spills with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid rubbing, and use a wool-specific cleaning product if necessary. Avoid using “Oxy” cleaners as they can damage wool fibers.
  • Professional steam cleaning: When needed, opt for professional steam cleaning for the most effective results.

Natural Fiber Rugs:

  • Avoid wet cleaning methods: Do not steam clean or wet-shampoo natural fiber rugs.
  • Prompt spill cleanup: Blot excess moisture from spills with a clean, dry cloth.
  • Regular vacuuming: Remove dirt and dust by vacuuming frequently.
  • Use entrance mats: Place mats outside entrances to trap soil before it enters your home.
